With the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and organised by the Rural Development Agency, eleven Georgian companies are participating in the 2026 edition of FRUIT LOGISTICA in Berlin, Germany.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the Georgian pavilion this year features companies specialising in blueberries, dried fruits, and spices: Agrolane, Blue Bird Berries, Colchian Berries, Agritach, Geo Agro Estate, Khoni Plantations, Geo Organic, Alpine Spice, Gentry Investment, Caucasus Organic Fruits, and the Georgian Agrarian Union.
The opening ceremony was attended by Giorgi Avaliani, Deputy Director of the Rural Development Agency, and Aleksandre Kartozia, Georgia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Germany.
Giorgi Avaliani emphasised that FRUIT LOGISTICA is a vital platform for expanding Georgian exports. He highlighted that nine Georgian companies specialising in blueberries are present at this year’s exhibition.
“Blueberries are among the most sought-after products with significant export potential. Georgia benefits from both high quality and favourable seasonality, making our products particularly attractive on various international markets. Events like this provide an excellent opportunity to boost export volumes, forge trade relations, and support the sustainable growth of blueberry producers,” he stated.
FRUIT LOGISTICA is one of Europe’s premier international exhibitions and serves as a global hub for fruit and vegetable producers. This year, over 2,500 domestic and international companies involved in the agricultural sector are taking part.
The exhibition opened on February 4 and will conclude on February 6.
