“Talks have been going on for a long time that people should be punished. Those who support Lomjaria (former Public Defender) should have visas, and those who voted for Georgian Dream should be punished,” said Gia Volski, First Vice Speaker.
Gia Voslki was asked to comment on the released information that former Public Defender and founder of Georgia’s European Orbit, as well as members of New Union, are visiting the German Ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer. Additionally, reportedly, EU Ambassador Paweł Herczyński participates in the discussion via video link.
According to Gia Volski, this is another attempt to bring the idea for discussion with the help of the German ambassador, and European commissioners and bureaucrats are involved and support this, although the attitudes of the states differ.
“It is concerning that there has been an attempt for a long time to drop bombs on Georgia. This is real, and work on this continues. The government makes efforts not to admit that. They failed to shake the government, since they always lose elections, nor did they manage to succeed through revolutionary-extremist activities.
Talks have been going on for a long time that people should be punished. Those who support Lomjaria should have visas, and those who voted for Georgian Dream should be punished. Everyone should boil in one big pot. If people in Georgia are not outrageous and have a negative attitude towards the government, they will not be able to come to power. They aim to create economic problems and enrol those who export goods to the Russian market in a group of revolutionists. The youngsters who will be suspended visa-free travel will be added. Now they are developing this revolutionary scenario, and these issues are being discussed with the German ambassador, who turned out to be the biggest supporter of these extremist groups,” he said.
Gia Volski believes that the German Ambassador serves as a supplement force to the United National Movement (UNM).
“For the EU Ambassador, it is hard to make some proposals since in the European Union, decisions are made not by bureaucracy, but by the union of countries, over which the ambassador has no mandate. He refrains from direct involvement, but stands in the backstage and acts with a plan. He does not hide that and says that the government should be shaken by revolutions and must be replaced with puppet authorities. We stand firm and will rescue the country.
The Fifth Column will not succeed. They have no prospect, and that is why they decided that economic collapse and suspension of visa-free travel should be the factors which will irritate the public and increase the ceasing activities and enliven extremism. They have this plan and their scenario is being shaped,” he stated.
