No sectoral policy can succeed without a properly functioning management system, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said in an interview with POSTV.<\/p>\n

According to Kobakhidze, the government has set an ambitious goal for Georgia to rank among the top three countries in Europe with the lowest levels of corruption.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe spoke openly about corruption-related problems and, most importantly, we took concrete measures. I am not referring only to investigations into specific officials \u2014 the key step was regulating practice. From the moment the new government was formed, we ensured transparency of government acts. Since then, tens of thousands of acts have been published. Anyone can review them and raise questions about possible signs of corruption, and we are ready to respond,\u201d Kobakhidze said.<\/p>\n

He added that the government believes the goal is achievable with the reforms already implemented and those planned in the future.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of maximizing Georgia\u2019s strategic geographic position by strengthening its connectivity and transit role. He noted that significant investments are being made in infrastructure.<\/p>\n
