“Opposition is seeking a solution for taking a humbling step to enter the parliament,” said Georgian Parliament’s Speaker Shalva Papuashvili.
According to the Speaker, the opposition politicians will end up in a deadlock by “destroying themselves if they renounce MP mandates or by taking a humbling step and enter the parliament.”
“We warned their voters that they dealt with agents acting in the interests of foreign partners and having nothing in common with anything Georgian. The voters should see this scene when they reject mandates demonstrating what kind of disgraceful people are in the opposition,” he said.
Shalva Papuashvili believes the opposition is cheating by saying they had written the applications.
“November 25 will come and everyone will see their shameful, degrading faces, they will not write applications but if they do, you will see our response,” he said.
The 11th Convocation Parliament of Georgia will hold the first sitting on November 25.
