The National Environmental Agency reports that on November 5, rain is expected in western Georgia, with snow in the highlands, potentially heavy in some areas, and blizzard conditions may occur.
Weather forecasters also anticipate strong winds across most of Georgia. Storm surges of 4-6 points are possible at sea.
“The anticipated precipitation could lead to rising water levels in the rivers of western Georgia, as well as the initiation and activation of landslides and mudslides in hilly and mountainous regions (medium danger level),” stated the National Environmental Agency.
