Prime Minister: Election process faces unprecedented external interference, but Georgian people’s will remains unshaken

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has expressed concerns about external interference in Georgia’s upcoming elections, specifically citing the recent “cards” published by the US Embassy in Georgia.

According to Kobakhidze, these cards aim to influence voter behavior, but he remains confident that such attempts will not sway the will of the Georgian people.

Kobakhidze emphasized that this election will occur under unprecedented external pressure but assured that neither these “cards” nor any other external efforts would be able to alter the outcome. He stated that the ruling party, “Georgian Dream,” currently enjoys around 60% support and is optimistic that this number will increase further in the weeks leading up to the election.

“We have three more weeks to work hard and ensure that our support exceeds 60%,” Kobakhidze said.
