“One positive outcome of recent developments is that the system is undergoing a process of cleansing from various angles, effectively entering a self-purification mode. This process, of course, will reach its conclusion,” stated Georgia’s Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, during a government meeting.
“Another critical problem that deserves emphasis, particularly pertaining to education, was highlighted by the PISA tests, which revealed a serious challenge in comprehension within the country. When an ordinary individual struggles to understand what they read or hear, it may be a minor issue. However, when comprehension difficulties arise among public servants, teachers, or staff in higher educational institutions, this becomes a far more pressing concern.
I want to extend an invitation to anyone who has found it challenging to grasp our communications. We are fully prepared for a discussion, even if I have little hope for fruitful engagement. A few months ago, we proposed an open dialogue with representatives of society regarding the Transparency Law, but ‘liberal fascism’ was activated, preventing participation in that discussion. Today, we remain open to dialogue. To any sincere person who may have misunderstood our statements, we invite you to come forward and engage in a public or non-public discussion on any issue related to our remarks. I suspect that ‘liberal fascism’ will again be activated, and sincere individuals may be denied the opportunity to participate in this dialogue—that is the nature of ‘liberal fascism.’
Every citizen is valuable to us, and we approach each individual’s opinion with care, especially when addressing sincere voices. Currently, a segment of the populace is expressing genuine protest. I am not referring to violent groups, but rather to sincere individuals. Our offer extends to these individuals to hold discussions in any format, on any topic. If it turns out they are correct, we will, of course, take their views into account, but this necessitates a healthy discourse rather than the tactics of ‘liberal fascism’ and violence, which can never yield success,” Irakli Kobakhidze stated.
