Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze stated that it is difficult to congratulate Moldova on its recent elections while the country remains a member of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).Responding to a question on whether he intends to congratulate Maia Sandu on her electoral victory, Kobakhidze said the ruling party will wait until Moldova leaves the CIS.“As long as Moldova remains a member of the CIS, it will be difficult for us to congratulate. The Georgian Dream–Democratic Georgia party’s candidate for Tbilisi mayor, incumbent Mayor Kakha Kaladze, met with residents of the Nadzaladevi district, where he urged them to support the party’s majoritarian candidates in the upcoming city council elections, the party’s press service reported.In his address, Kaladze highlighted ongoing and planned projects in the capital and thanked the ruling team for their backing.“We are all fighting to protect the independence and sovereignty of our country.
