Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán extended condolences to Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze over the death of Catholicos-Patriarch, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, and expressed gratitude to him for visiting Budapest during this difficult moment for Georgia.
According to the Government Administration, Georgian PM once again emphasized the epochal role of the Patriarch in the history of the country and nation.
“Georgian Prime Minister will participate in the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). His speech will be entirely dedicated to Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II,” the Government Administration said.
CPAC Hungary 2026 take place on March 21 and will feature high-profile conservative leaders.
