“The reset of relations with the U.S. is practically underway. Any invitation and a visit of our delegation will contribute to starting a new chapter,” said Guram Macharashvili, Executive Secretary of the People’s Power party.
According to Macharashvili, exchange of visits adds value to relationships and contributes to the reset of relations.
“The US Secretary of State directly said that the previous administration has left a very negative legacy in relation to Georgia. Naturally, this will have an impact on the new administration, which has been observing the situation for one year. Exchange of visits will contribute to the reset of relations.
The Georgian parliamentary delegation is visiting Washington. The delegation comprises majority MPs Nikoloz Samkharadze, Mariam Lashkhi and Lika Shartava.
